Effects of Climate Change on Agriculture

Location: Campus Center Room 301

The UNA USA Hawaii Island Chapter, in collaboration with the UH Hilo International Student Services and Intercultural Education Program, will be sponsoring a lecture that discuss topics of international relevance. The featured guest speaker is Dr. Cam Muir. He is an associate professor of biology at UH Hilo. Dr. Muir and his wife, Eliah Halpenny, started Big Island Tea. They wanted to establish a new forest in who h to grow tea. Cam will show the importance of forest grown tea on the quality of the tea. The presentation will examine the Four Pillars of Sustainability.
