Chinese New Year Celebration at Library Lanai UH Hilo

Location: Library Lanai

The Chinese Studies Certificate Program hosts the annual Chinese New Year celebration event on Monday, February 8th at the Library Lanai 9:30-12:30. Have fun with Chinese zodiac signs, handmade lanterns, paper cuts, calligraphy, paintings, and join us for Taiji boxing and Qigong exercises!
Enjoy a Chinese cake as a prize if you can learn to say "Happy New Year" in Chinese, take a photo at "Photo Corner" with Chinese spring couplets and Chinese costumes, and learn how to dance the Yangko.

Representatives will also be on hand to with information about the Chinese Studies Certificate. Learn more about the certificate program at hilo.hawaii.edu/catalog/chinese-studies-certificate
