Great American Smokeout

Location: Campus Center Plaza

On Thursday, November 19th, from 10:00am - 2:00pm in Campus Center Plaza, join Colleges Against Cancer as we spread awareness about lung cancer during the month of November. If you joined us for Paint Hawai`i Purple and made a tie-dye shirt, please wear it this day to support the cause! We will be having various activities and freebies in the plaza for all to enjoy. During Great American Smokeout, we pledge to not smoke cigarettes, e-cigs, hookah, etc. as they can be attributed to causing Lung Cancer. If you come and make a pledge to not smoke or stop smoking (even if the pledge is to not smoke for just 24 hours), you will receive a Turkey Sandwich from Sodexo to symbolize you quitting 'cold turkey'! Come down to learn more about how to keep your lungs healthy as well as get information about our upcoming Relay For Life!
