Workshop for UH Hilo Pre-Med Students

On Wednesday, October 28th, 2015, the Native Hawaiian Center of Excellence (NHCOE) from the UH Mānoa John A. Burns School of Medicine will be partnering up with the UH Hilo Aspiring Doctors Club of Hilo from 6:00pm-8:30pm in STB 108 to provide a workshop for UH Hilo students to learn more about the field of medicine. Students will learn about the NHCOE ʻImi Hoʻōla Program, participate in a basic hands-on activity and a Problem Based Learning (PBL) demo, and get a chance to ask questions to current JABSOM medical students and physicians, Dr. Sasha Fernandes and Dr. Winnie Lee.

Interested students must RSVP by October 20th, 2015 to dtacdol@hawaii.edu. Admission is $5 for students who are not members of the UH Hilo Aspiring Doctors Club of Hilo.
