Global Lens International Film Festival

In recognition of United Nations Day, the focus of this year’s Global Lens International Film Festival is on Asian and Pacific nations that may not be well known in the United States: Mynamar (Burma), West Papua, Indonesia and Timor-Leste. Each film will be introduced by a student who is either from the nation being featured or is knowledgeable about the topic exposed in the film.

October 19: "They Call It Myanmar: Lifting the Curtain" at 7 pm
October 20: "Forgotten Bird of Paradise" at 5:30 pm, "The Road to Home" at 6 pm, and "The Act of Killing" at 7:30 pm
October 22: "A Guerra da Beatriz" (Beatriz's War) at 7 pm

All films will be shown in UCB 127. Free admission. Sponsored by the International Student Services & Intercultural Education Program.
