UH Hilo's 5K Holiday Run/Walk - CANCELED

Location: Campus Center Plaza

Due to unforeseen circumstances, this event has been canceled.

Join us at the University of Hawai‘i at Hilo's 2nd Annual 5K Holiday Lava Run/Walk on Saturday, December 5, 2015! Race day registration begins at 6:00am at the Campus Center Plaza, with the start kicking off at 8:00am. The 5K course is designed to give participants of all ages the chance to explore the UH Hilo campus in a family-friendly, festive run/walk.

Proceeds will benefit Special Olympics East Hawaii High School Delegations and UH Hilo Alumni & Friends Association outreach activities. The event aims to bring students, faculty, staff, alumni and community members together.

The run/walk will also feature a Zumba dance party and a Health & Fitness Fair with music and booths from various participating vendors.

Early registration is $30, students are $15 (valid student I.D. required), and children 6 and under are free (shirt not included). Race-day registration is $35; students are $20. The fee includes a limited edition dri-fit t-shirt, water, snacks and a race bag. Teams must have four participants.
