Advanced Grant Writing

Location: University of Hawaii Center at West Hawaii 81-964 Halekii Street, Kealakekua, HI 96750 Building 5, Classroom 5C

You've taken basic...now move to advanced. Experienced grant writer and dynamic instructor, Jeani Navarro, will show you how to research and write winning proposals that get funded. Gain a more in-depth understanding of the criteria funders use to determine whether your grant proposal is funded or rejected. You’ll become proficient in the proposal format used by the vast majority of public foundations. Jeani will help you discover the quickest and most efficient ways to gather the information you'll need to develop your proposal's attachments, including information on your organization's structure, administration, and finances.

Special Restrictions: Tuition is $75. [University of Hawaii employees may qualify for a 100% tuition waiver through the Chancellors Professional Development fund. Private and non-government employees may qualify for a 50% tuition waiver through the state’s Employee Training Fund (ETF)].
