Safe Zone Training

Location: Campus Center 306

Safe Zone Training approved by the UH System-wide Commission on LGBTQIA for all UH Campuses and is designed to visibly identify students, staff, and faculty peers who support the LGBTQIA population. The training will help you to understand some of the issues facing LGBTQIA individual and make you aware of the various LGBTQIA resources. The 2 hour training session provides a foundation of knowledge needed to be an effective ally to LGBTQIA students and those questioning their sexuality.
