United Nations Day Talk on Climate Change

Location: Campus Center Room 301

"Climate Change Refugees" from the Carteret Atoll: Jacinta Helin and Steve Hanks, teachers from Honokaa High School, will give a presentation regarding Tulele Peisa, a community based grassroot organization for the relocation of the Carteret Islanders in Papua New Guinea. They also just won the United Nations Development Program Equator Prize.
