"OUTober"-National Coming Out Week!

Location: Campus Center Plaza

October or "OUTober" is National Coming OUT week! Check out our week long events happening from October 6-10, 2014. This event is supporting individuals who identify as part of the LGBTQ community that are coming out or in the process of coming out. The week of activities are the following:

Monday-October 6: Gender Bread Cookie-located in Campus Center Plaza @8:00am-1:00pm (Decorate cookies while defining sex, gender, gender expression and sexual orientation.)

Tuesday-October 7: Coming Out Stories- located in Campus Center Plaza @6:00pm-8:00pm (Hear stories about LGBTQ community members and their lives, with time for Question and Answers in between.)

Wednesday-October 8: Safe Zone Training- located in Campus Center Plaza @6:00pm-8:00pm (Get certified for Safe Zone Ally Training. Learn to be a resource when someone "Comes Out".- After Training, receive a door deck and a certificate.)

Thursday-October 9: LGBTQ Movie Night- located in Campus Center Plaza @5:30pm-8:00pm (Showtime- 5:30pm=Dangerous Living and 6:30pm=GBF)

Friday-October 10: Drag Show- located in Campus Center Plaza @6:00pm-9:00pm (Come have fun with the LGBTQ community and support your community.)

Wear red on Friday to support the LGBTQ community!

Special Restrictions: This event it open to all students and community!
