UH Hilo's 7th Annual Walk a Mile in Her Shoes

Location: Campus Center Plaza

UH Hilo Student Health & Wellness Programs, Men of Strength presents the 7th Annual Men's March against rape, sexual assault and gender based violence. Walk a Mile in Her Shoes asks men to literally walk one mile in women's high-heeled shoes and protest against sexualized violence!

High heels are recommended but not mandatory for men, and are available upon request. To register, or for questions about disability access email

Registration is from 10:30AM-11:30AM at Campus Center Plaza, followed by the keynote address from UH Hilo’s Interim Athletic Director, Tim Moore. The walk will commence after speaker.
