Four University of Hawai╩╗i at Hilo students set sail from Halifax, Nova Scotia Canada on Friday, August 27, as participants in the Semester at Sea program.

Rachel Cabanilla, a junior marine science major, Bria Calloway, a senior anthropology and performing arts major, Kaipo Dye, a sophomore sociology and agriculture major, and Nicole Pasalo, a junior psychology major, will drop anchor in 11 countries in Europe, Asia and Africa before returning to the U.S. Each received a $13,437 scholarship from The Institute for Shipboard Education.
