Acupressure massage classes at UH Hilo

The University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo College of Continuing Education and Community Service is offering two non-credit acupressure massage workshops, taught by Licensed Massage Therapist Lauren Solodky.
Acupressure I is on Saturday, March 14 and Sunday, March 15 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. This beginner’s level class is open to anyone and is based on traditional Chinese healing. Acupressure techniques are used to relieve common ailments as headaches, muscle aches and sciatica. Tuition is $55.
Acupressure II is on Saturday, April 11 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and it expands on many of the principles learned from the introductory course. Special focus is on the back of the body, scalp, face, hands and feet. Acupressure I is a prerequisite. Tuition is $30.
