UH Hilo College of Business Education to host international consortium

The University of Hawaii at Hilo College of Business and Economics is co-sponsoring the annual meeting of the International Consortium for Electronic Business (ICEB) in Waikoloa from September 30 through October 3. ICEB is an organization that promotes research, education and knowledge sharing in electronic business.
Two CoBE faculty will present papers at the conference. Dr. Kelly Burke will present a paper with the results of his research on technology usage in Hawaiian small agricultural businesses. He will also chair a session at the conference titled “IT Management, Innovation and Infrastructure in e-Business.” And Dr. Kimberly Furumo will present a paper she prepared with Dr. Emmeline de Pillis, titled “Hawaiian Identity and Collectivism Predict the Ideal Virtual Team Personality.”
