URH to celebrate going on-air with free concert

University Radio Hilo (URH) is holding a free concert on Thursday, April 13 from 7-10:30 p.m. at the University of Hawaii at HiloCampus Center Plaza to celebrate going on-air. The public is invited.

Music for the alcohol- and drug-free event will be provided by Bruddah Kuz, Jim Major, AEthyrus and Ashes Grey.

URH has been the student-run Internet broadcast facility serving UH Hilo and Hawai`i Community College. URH is expected to go on-air as a low-power AM station at 1640 KHZ in early April. URH will also continue to Webcast at http://radio.uhh.hawaii.edu.
