Statewide UH Hilo "Early Bird" registration announced

The University of Hawaii at Hilo will again be offering "Early Bird" advising and registration throughout the State during the month of July. Sessions are for new and transfer students who have been accepted as classified students and plan to begin studies at UH Hilo in Fall 2004.
Early Bird registration times and sites are as follows:
•Thursday, July 15: Kauai Community College, Learning Resource Center Room 123, 12:00-2:00 pm
•Friday, July 16: Leeward Community College, Learning Resource Center Room 101, 11:00 am-2:00 pm
•Tuesday, July 20: Maui Community College, Ka'a'ike Room 108, 11:00 am-2:00 pm
•Friday, July 23: UH Center, West Hawai`i (Kona), Computer Lab, 3:00- 5:00 pm
Sign-up in advance is required. The deadline to sign up for the Kauai and O`ahu sessions is July 9. The Maui sign-up deadline is July 14, and West Hawai`i is July 19.
In Hilo, Early Bird sessions will be on Tuesday, July 27, at UH Hilo's University Classroom Building (UCB) Room 100 from 5:00-8:00 pm, and on Wednesday, July 28, in UCB 100 from 10:00 am-1:00 pm. The deadline to sign up for these sessions is July 21.
Early Bird registration provides an opportunity for new students to meet with an advisor, choose fall classes, and register for classes before arriving on campus in August for orientation. Students unable to attend an Early Bird session will receive advising and be able to register during Orientation beginning the week of August 16.
