UH Hilo hosts Regional Science Olympiad Feb. 9

The Center for Community Engagement (CCE) and Research & Community Partnerships at the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo hosts the Regional Science Olympiad competition Saturday, February 9, from 9 a.m.- 4 p.m. on the UH Hilo Campus Center Plaza.
Science Olympiad celebrates 35 years as one of the premier science competitions in the nation. Middle and high school students from across Hawaiʻi Island will compete in a variety of STEM-based events that draw from disciplines such as genetics, earth science, chemistry, engineering, physics, anatomy, geology, engineering and technology. The top five teams will advance to the state competition on O`ahu.
The event is sponsored by the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo in collaboration with Science Olympiad.
