CCECS announces introductory French course

The College of Continuing Education and Community Service (CCECS) at the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo offers an introductory French language course with native speaker and long- time French instructor Sylvie Garnero.
Conversational French with Sylvie Garnero is a practical and interactive course for those age 16 and up. Through observation and extensive practice, students learn how the French communicate using proper words and grammar. Classes are on Wednesdays, January 24 - March 14, from 4:30 - 6 p.m. in UH Hilo's Wentworth Hall, Room 9. Tuition is $100.
Sylvie Garnero was born and raised in France. She studied at the University of Paris IV (Sorbonne) and then Paris VIII (Vincennes-Saint Denis) where she received a B.A. with a major in ESL and an M.A. in Linguistics.
