CCECS offers iPhone workshop

The University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo College of Continuing Education and Community Service (CCECS) offers a hands-on introductory iPhone workshop with Certified Recording Engineer / Electronic Multimedia Producer Evan Clark. Classes will be held on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, February 13, 14 and 15, from 1 – 3 p.m. in UH Hilo’s PB-7 (Computer Lab). Tuition is $75.
iPhone Basics will acquaint participants with various functions, including important calling features, sending and receiving text and picture messages, e-mails, blocking unwanted phone calls, and more. Students will also learn how to use iPhone applications such as the Notification Center, Camera, Safari, App Store and Siri. Basic iPhone knowledge and an iPhone 4s or higher with a charger and cableare required. The latest iOS updates should also be installed prior to class.
