Introductory Spanish course begins Oct. 17

The College of Continuing Education and Community Service (CCECS) at the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo offers a Spanish language course entitled Conversational Spanish. Classes will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays, October 17 through November 21, from 5 – 6:30 p.m. in UH Hilo’s Edith Kanaka`ole Hall Room 106 with no class on October 31. Tuition is $100.
This introductory course will focus on basic Spanish pronunciation and vocabulary. Upon completion of the class, students will be able to have elementary conversations and understand many Spanish words and phrases.
Instructor Tom Goltz is a certified teacher who has taught Spanish at the high school and college level, and spent 20 years living in Spanish-speaking countries.
