Creating Your Life Story: From Memory to Memoir begins Jan. 26

The College of Continuing Education and Community Service (CCECS) at the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo offers Creating Your Life Story: From Memory to Memoir on Tuesdays, January 26 to March 15, 4:15 - 6:15 p.m., on the UH Hilo campus, Kanaka`ole Hall, Room 126. Cost is $80.
Participants will experiment, explore, and journey to find their own voice. Participants will need a journal, spiral notebook and pens for class use, as well as computer availability for polishing drafts on their own.
Instructor Sally K. O’Brien has an extensive background in teaching writing, English and speech at the high school and college levels, and has also spent many years presenting memoir writing and life coaching. She was a contributing writer in Chicken Soup for the Soul at Work and was an Amazon best-selling author of Love Offerings to the Universe.
