Working women communication class coming to Kona

The University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo College of Continuing Education and Community Service (CCECS) is offering a workshop in Kona this month for women seeking professional development opportunities and overall job satisfaction. Communication skills for Women: How Women Can Find Solutions for Barriers to Advancement in the Workplace will be held on Saturday, November 21, from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. at Kealakehe High School, Room F101. The cost is $75.

Facilitator Christine Hijirida will show participants how to identify potential barriers and devise strategies to overcome them.

Private and non-government employers/businesses may qualify for a 50% tuition waiver through the State's Employment & Training Fund (ETF). For details, visit http://labor.hawaii.gov/ and apply at least 10 days before the start of class.
