CCECS announces iPhone workshop

The University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo College of Continuing Education and Community Service (CCECS) conducts a two-day, hands-on iPhone workshop. Sessions will be held on Monday and Tuesday, November 9 and 10, from 1-3 p.m. at the SeniorNet Lab, located on the second floor at 891 Ululani Street in Hilo. Tuition is $60.
iPhone - Beyond Just Making Calls, will acquaint participants with various functions, including important calling features, sending and receiving text and picture messages, blocking unwanted phone calls, e-mails and messages, and more. Instructor Anthony Liu will also show how to use iPhone applications such as the Notification Center, Camera, Safari, App Store, and Siri. Participants must provide their own iPhone, models 4 or higher, and a data cord. The latest iOS updates should also be installed prior to class. Basic computer skills are required.
