CCCECS announces website creation workshop

The College of Continuing Education and Community Service (CCECS) at the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo hosts an introductory three-day workshop on creating a website using free online software. Classes will be held Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, November 16, 17 and 18, from 1 – 4 p.m. at the SeniorNet Lab, located on the second floor at 891 Ululani Street in Hilo. Tuition is $125.

Introduction to WIX.com: Creating Websites without Code will teach participants how to create a customized website or a fully operational website to promote a business or department. Instructor Joel Cook will also cover how to easily author a fully functional website containing multiple web pages filled with animation, sounds and videos, securing a web domain (name), hosting, and more. Basic computer skills and a 4GB+ USB drive are required.
