CCECS offers iPhone workshop

The University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo College of Continuing Education and Community Service (CCECS) offers a two-day hands-on iPhone workshop. Sessions will be held on Tuesday and Thursday, September 15 and 17, from 10 a.m. to noon at the SeniorNet Lab located on the second floor at 891 Ululani Street in Hilo. Tuition is $60.

iPhone - Beyond Just Making Calls will acquaint participants with various functions, including important calling features, sending and receiving text and picture messages, blocking unwanted phone calls, e-mails and messages, and more. Instructor Evan Clark will also show how to use iPhone-included apps such as the Notification Center, Camera, Safari, App Store, and Siri. Participants must provide their own iPhone, models 4 or higher, with a data cord. The latest iOS updates should be installed prior to class.
