CCCECS announces website creation workshop

The College of Continuing Education and Community Service (CCECS) at the University of Hawai’i at Hilo will host a three-day workshop that will teach participants how to create a stunning website without knowing any code by using online tools. Classes will be held on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, September 9, 10 and 11 from 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. in the SeniorNet Lab located on the 2nd floor at 891 Ululani Street. Tuition is $125.

Introduction to Creating Websites without Code will show you how to create a fully operational website with “drag and drop tools” to promote a business, department or simply create a customized website. Instructor Joel Cook will also cover several related topics including how to easily author a fully functional website containing multiple web pages filled with animation, sounds and videos; securing a web domain (name), hosting and more.
