CCECS offers social media workshop

The College of Continuing Education and Community Service (CCECS) at the University of Hawai╩╗i at Hilo conducts an introductory class on social media. Two identical workshops will be held on Thursday, June 25, and Thursday, July 16, from 5 ÔÇô 8 p.m. in Mookini Library, Room 359. Tuition is $55 and parking is free.

Social Media for Beginners will explain the differences between popular social
media types, how to set up your account, manage privacy settings, establish a network of friends, post events, video chat, integrate your mobile device, and much more. Basic computer skills and a flash drive are required.
