Creative portraiture workshop offered

The College of Continuing Education and Community Service at the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo offers a workshop for participants to explore creative, innovative and classic approaches to portraiture. The workshop will be held November 3-19 on Mondays and Wednesdays, from 5-7 pm. at 891 Ululani Street, Room 116 in Hilo. The fee is $95 for six classes.

The workshop is taught by Britten Traughber and is designed to encourage photographers as they develop their own style, objective and technical approaches to portrait photography. A portfolio project will be created as a final.

A digital SLR is recommended, and access and working knowledge of Photoshop is strongly suggested.
