Faculty Lecture Series continues with Ken Hon Oct. 15

The University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo Faculty Congress and the College of Continuing Education and Community Service (CCECS) invite the public to a presentation by Dr. Ken Hon, UH Hilo professor of geology, on Wednesday, October 15, 6:30 p.m., in UCB Room 100.
Hon will present “What to expect when you’re expecting…Lava.” Using timelapse videos and slides, he will discuss how pahoehoe flows advance and what to expect when the flows interact with roads, buildings, and other infrastructure.
