PIPES to hold two-day student symposium

The Pacific Internship Programs for Exploring Science (PIPES) program concludes its 21st year of programming with a 2014 student symposium on Thursday and Friday, August 7th and 8th, 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Hale‘olelo auditorium on the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo campus. The event is free and open to the public.

A total of 40 student interns in the Micronesian & American Samoan Student Internship Program (MASSIP), University of Hawai’i Hawaiian Internship Program (UHHIP), and the Research Experience for Undergraduates (REU) program will share their program highlights, research results, resource management and outreach experiences during the event, to be followed by an 'Aha 'Aina.
