The University of Hawai╩╗i at Hilo English Department launches its monthly series of brown bag discussions on writing and literature on Tuesday, September 13, 12:30-1:30 p.m. in the Campus Center Private Dining Room.

Associate Professor Mark Panek presents "When Are We? Multiple Narratives, Rhetorical Purpose, and Suspense in Big Happiness: The Life and Death of a Modern Hawaiian Warrior."

Students, faculty, staff, and the public are welcome to attend the first of the English Department's monthly informal talks.
