Bon Voyage from UH Hilo!

Three University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo students set sail from Nassau, Bahamas, on January 12 as part of the Semester at Sea program.
Tiana Gillia, a junior business administration major, Alexander Parra, senior communication major, and Sydney Kashiwagi, a sophomore communication major, are currently in Cape Town, South Africa en route to Port Louis, Mauritius. The three are circumnavigating the globe, visiting 11 countries, and will pass through Hilo before ending their voyage in San Diego.
Through the partnership with the Institute for Shipboard Education, all three students received the UH Hilo Semester at Sea scholarship, $13,437 each to help fund the semester-long program.
