As the University of Hawai`i at Hilo Student Association wraps up for the semester, your student government representatives prepare for upcoming elections, final campus events, and graduation commencement.

UHHSA elections for the 2018-2019 school year will take place online between April 9 and April 11 at http://hilo.hawaii.edu/elections. Several promotion events will be held leading up to the elections, including “Donut Forget to Vote” on April 9 to remind students to fill out a ballot online, and to snack on a sugary treat in the meantime. On April 11 at 6:30 p.m., the concluding day of the elections, UHHSA will hold their final FLOW event, co-sponsored by the Student Activities Council, featuring music and free pizza for students.

The applications to run for UHHSA Senate have officially closed, but there are still lots of opportunities for students to join committees, including the Sustainability Committee, the Legislature Committee, the Registered Independent Student Organization Committee, and more.

On April 26, UHHSA will have their final meeting of the semester. Meetings are always free and open to the student body. If you have any questions, concerns, or comments for your student government representatives, stop by the UHHSA office in Campus Center 203-A between the Lava Tube and Ke Kalahea.
