Aloha Vulcans,

This semester is just “March”-ing by. I hope you all enjoyed your spring break and had a relaxing one at that. With all the severe weather we’ve been experiencing across the islands, I hope all of you and your families are safe and doing well during this time.

This month’s edition does a great job highlighting campus life and the different opportunities to experience events both in the past and in the future, with much collaboration across the board from our team and the student body. You can check out Cameron’s photo story, highlighting some of the most popular student facilities on campus, told by students! Caleilah is back with another “Starlei review”, covering Campus Center’s plant pot painting event. Jordan covered an exciting launch of "Second Year Experience", the sister program to First Year Experience that supports students who have already been at UH Hilo for a full year. Lastly, coverage of February’s International Night 2026: Léo’s article and Max’s photostory.

Over the course of this school year, we have been very fortunate to welcome new student members to our team and fill all of our positions. As a reminder, at the beginning of every school year, all positions on the team open up, and as most team members return for another term, all positions are available to apply for.
