Disc Jockey
Looking for students eager to learn new skills and share their unique music, topic interests, and voice. Gain experience in live radio broadcasting, audio editing and mixing, and so much more! DJs will host weekly, live shows, assist and attend events, and participate in monthly meetings.

Board of Student Publications (BOSP)

Vice-Chairperson
Serve in the absence of the Chairperson, assist the BOSP chairperson in all capacities, serve as a liaison between the Board and its publications, and attend weekly team meetings.

Treasurer
Review all BOSP financial records, submit monthly reports of the Board's financial statements for all BOSP accounts, prepare the annual budget, develop and monitor the BOSP budget, attend weekly team meetings.

Secretary
Prepare and present special reports, publish the agenda, take meeting minutes at all required meetings, distribute agenda and meeting minutes, maintain a master file of all minutes and documents at the BOSP office, maintain a current BOSP job/position description file, and attend weekly team meetings.

Publicist
Manage and upkeep all BOSP social media platforms to increase social media presence, create and assist with the distribution of flyers and/or other promotional materials to promote BOSP events, assist in finding and creating promotional items, assist the publications in the upkeep and/or promotion of their social media platforms, attend weekly team meetings.

Hohonu (Academic Journal)

Editor in Chief
Oversee all aspects of the publication, assign tasks to team members, participate in decision making in regards to the publication, convene meetings, participate in tabling events to promote Hohonu.

General Editor
Read all written pieces submitted and score each piece according to the approved rubric, participate in tabling events to promote Hohonu, attend weekly team meetings.

Event Planners

  • Creation of small to medium size events
  • Planning, Attending, Managing, and setup/breakdown of events with cultural, recreational, social, or educational components
  • Attending Official Meeting

Secretary

  • Executive responsibilities of SAC
  • Organization of meetings
  • Documentation of meetings, inventory
  • Organizes Interviews, questions and applications for upcoming SAC members

Vice Chair

  • Creation and organization of larger events
  • Management and operations of the Council
  • Serve as the secondary point of contact for the Council
  • Organization and facilitate all official meetings
  • Work alongside the SAC Executive Chair to ensure the success of event and the efficient operations of the Council
