Pandemic Fatigue

As the plague stretches on, it may be easy to stop caring about its effects, or to fall into despair and fatigue. Though we cannot fix the world, we can make it more bearable for all.
- Stick to the protocols, even as they change. No one enjoys the stifling mask, staying distant from friends, or sticking needles in their arms, but those are the ways we'll get through it.
- Don't stop having fun, however. Find virtual or outdoor activities to do with friends, start new hobbies you've always wanted to try, make new recipes.
- Stick to a routine. Keep it consistent when you eat, sleep, and work.
- Take care of your body. Not just in food and exercise, but in clothes and hygiene.
- Look at the news a little less. Though knowledge of current events is good, you don't have to study them until you're a crying puddle on the floor.
- Make your environment a nice place to be. Decorate your room how you like, move things around to what works.
- Accept that some days will still be hard. This pandemic isn't easy on anyone. You're allowed to feel sad, angry, depressed, atc. You're allowed to slip up on routines. Be gentle with yourself.
