Letter From Editor

Aloha Vulcans,

Welcome back! Despite the upset to in-person learning caused by the Omicron variant, I hope the start to your spring semester was safe and productive. As always, it is Ke Kalahea’s aim to serve our student population by providing you with news relevant to your life and purpose here at UH Hilo. Please stop by Campus Room 202-A every first Monday and Thursday of the month to collect the new issue of Ke Kalahea as well as free food and some of our merch. We are funded by your student publication fees, so be sure to take full advantage of the resources we provide!

This month, read about the changes covid-19 has brought to the new semester, a Roman-themed Christmas, the re-invention of a UH-owned building in Hilo, and so much more.

Mahalo for your readership,
Lichen Forster
Ke Kalahea Editor-in-Chief

Corrections:
Ke Kalahea regrets a mistake published in the Dec. 2021 issue, which states that the LGBTQ+ Center is funded by student fees. It is actually funded by the university. Any misprints or corrections should be reported to the Ke Kalahea Editor-in-Chief at uhhkk@hawaii.edu or in Campus Center Room 202-A.
