Starlei Studios Presents: 28 Years Later

Kicking off the return of Starlei Studio's monthly reviews is the summor horror film, 28 Years Later, the third film of the 28 Years Later franchise. It landscapes the world almost three decades before the previous two films, 28 Days and 28 Weeks in which a civilization of survivors live on an island off the coast of mainland England amid those infect by the rage virus. Starring Aaron Taylor-Jognson, Jodie Comer, and Ralph Fiennes, this film is cinematically beautiful, with natural landscapes of the mainland UK, gripping with anxious chase scenes and speedy camera shots. Overall, this film was a combination of emotional and hyper, action-packed and gory, and beautiful yet infernal. Starlei Studios rates 28 Years Later 4.5 out of 5 stars.
