Editor's Note
Aloha mai kākou,
With most midterms and Halloweekend coming to an end, it’s time to sit back, relax, and begin studying for finals, which will definitely be here sooner than we know.
We want to welcome Shaydee Jacobe, our new social media manager, onto the team. She has already dusted off the Instagram page and posts helpful information about the publication and UH Hilo happenings weekly.
The team is still in search of an Associate Editor and Webmaster. If anyone is interested in either of these roles, paper applications are available in front of the Ke Kalahea office, or a PDF application is on the Ke Kalahea website.
This month, we will explore how UH Hilo students and staff practice kindness, what Hawaiian Independence Day is, and more topics. We also wish everyone happy holidays and a safe trip for those of us flying out to see family and friends.
As always, feel free to send any potential story ideas or articles to uhhkk@hawaii.edu
Me ka haʻahaʻa,
Pualani Ovono
