Postcards From Road: UH Hilo Women's Cross Country
By Allegra Diaz
It has been super fun traveling to Oʻahu to compete with other schools. Since there are only two other teams in Hawaiʻi in our same conference, we're like a family who share the love of running! We are always excited every race to see how we progress individually and as a team. It's really the team dynamic of the whole trip that helps us pull through and have fun. PacWest Championships are [in late October] in Kahuku and we are all excited to race and see how far we've come since the beginning of the season. It's going to be a bittersweet ending for us three seniors, but we wouldn't want to end our collegiate cross country career any other way than running with some of the best people on the planet.”
