This document seeks to determine if the observatories that sit atop the 13,800 foot elevation of Mauna Kea are automated with oxygen-enriched work areas or if working at/visiting this altitude requires acclimatization before ascending to this altitude. Described here, is the design of the Keck Observatory and the steps that are taken in an effort to help their employees work as safely as possible at high altitude.
