Summary:
This document describes field tests that were conducted by thePacific International Space Center for Exploration Systems (PISCE) and the University of Hawaii together with the National Aeronautics and Spce Administration and the Canadian Space Agency. The field tests were done on Mauna Kea of a prototype robotic rover in terrain that is similar to that of the moon. The agencies that permitted the proposed project were the Department of Land and Natural Resources Division of Forestry and Wildlife in addition to the Office of Mauna Kea Management.
