The dept. of Transportation has submitted a cost estimate of $42,000 for the access road construction. Dept. of Water and Land Development will also improve the road from the junction of the Keanokolu Road and Hale Pohaku Road at 7000 feet to the Hale Pohaku Ranger Station at an estimated cost of $8000.
