UK newspaper The Daily Telegraph started to put some stories on WWW since Nov. 1994. Based on a survey by the newspaper, "astronomy" is the second most popular word associated with Hawaii. Sierra Club and Ka Lahui Hawaii say that four telescopes (VLBA, SMA, Gemini, and Subaru) shouldn't receive land subleases unless environmental and cultural protections at the summit are assured.
