Summary:
This study was done to assess the sulphur distribution status of the kikugrass (Pennisetum clandestinum Hochst. ex. Chiov.) that grows on the Hanipoe silt loam soil (Thaptic Hapulstand) in the upper and lower canopies of Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa. These were evaluated at eight grazing sites located at 1500 to 1800 meter elevation on Mauna Kea and six sites located at the slightly lower elevation levels of 1250 to 1400 meters on Mauna Loa.
