Summary:
This document describes the experiences of a group of skiers who set out to determine if skiing on any of the three major mountains in Hawaii, (Haleakala, Mauna Loa, and Mauna Kea), could become a major attraction of the islands. With skiing on Mauna Kea on the island of Hawaii being the most inviting, the party divided into two groups and describes their experiences as they skied on the endless rolling open slopes of 'corn' snow that stretched out before them on the southern and northeastern areas of the summit.
