Ka Hui Kapa Apana o Waimea Hawaiian Quilt Pattern Collection
Description of Collection: This collection contains over 300 quilt patterns of various sizes donated by Ka Hui Kapa Apana O Waimea, a community quilt organization from Waimea, Hawaiʻi.
Access and Use: Quilt patterns in this collection were donated to continue the practice of Hawaiian quilt making. Patrons of Mookini Library are welcome to copy patterns for personal use only. We ask that these patterns not be used for any commercial use.
Process and Instructions for Use: See the listing of quilt patterns and associated information below. Patterns may be requested for in-library use only. Once a pattern is selected, library staff will bring the pattern to the patron. Patrons should bring their own tracing paper and pencils, and use those tools to trace over the quilt pattern. The quilt pattern will be returned to the library staff.
