Freely Available Bibliographic Managers for All

If you are tackling a major paper or project with many sources, you might want to use a bibliography management program to organize your resources. You can import citations directly from journal article databases and organize your research sources into different folders for different papers and projects.

Mendeley and Zotero are some of the freely available bibliographic management programs that will store your citations.

If you don’t have many citations, you may want to use one of these fill-in-the-blank citation generators. If you are going to have a lot of citations or will be working on a long-term project, consider one of the Bibliographic Managers in the box to the left.
