Hawaiian Language Culture Living Learning Community
Hawaiian Language & Culture LLC students participated in a fishpond restoration project at Waiāhole Loko, Keaukaha.
The Hawaiian Language and Culture community is for first year students who have a shared interest in learning and participating in various cultural practices. This community offers an opportunity for interested students to navigate their first year at UH Hilo while building a strong cultural foundation and connecting with others who have similar passions in this area. Participants will be able to further their use of Hawaiian language outside of the classroom through engaging activities tailored toward their interests.
