BIOL 481 & 481L: Tropical Island Ecology & Evolution
The application deadline is March 1, 2017 for priority consideration, followed by an open enrollment until filled, 16 participants maximum.
There are three items required to complete an application for the UHH-OTS Tropical Island Ecology and Evolution Course. Incomplete applications will not be considered.

Students selected to attend the Tropical Island Ecology and Evolution course will then need to officially apply for Summer Admission with the University of Hawai`i at Hilo and enroll in the course. More information will be provided upon selection.

2. Two (2) Letters of Recommendation from Faculty Members
Letters of recommendation are required from two faculty members with whom you have work with and/or with whom you have taken a class. You must download the Faculty Recommendation Form and fill out the top portion of the form prior to sending the form to each professor. Instructions of how he/she is to submit the form are included within the document, but it is your responsibility to insure recommendations are submitted by the deadline.
Transcripts from all universities attended must be sent for review. Unofficial transcripts are accepted, and should be saved using the same format as the student application, but with the prefix of UHHtrans. For example: UHHtrans_SMITH,T.pdf
